God Dey is a theological class that analyzes the Creator within African contexts. This class examines three Supreme Beings belonging to the Yoruba, Edo, Urhobo people respectively—including an introductory to Igbe, the Urhobo practice of utilizing dance to connect deeply with the Creator. In the beginning of the lecture, students answer journal prompts that examine their relationship with the Creator and experience a Q&A with featured guest, Tee, who moves through the world as a poet, Lucumi priest, and religious pluralist.
