This phrase is derived from the Adinkra symbol that hails from the Ashanti people in their language of Akan Twi and literally means, “God’s Tree.” It represents a sacred space created from trees in which they’re at the presence and protection of God; with this harmonious space they’re able to enact great transformation in their reality. This phrase was chosen for this site in hopes to create a safe, sacred and black-centered space for those that stumble upon it
